Miller Selected for USA National Team

After 10 days of practices at the USA baseball training complex in Cary, NC, the team has been selected, and Brad Miller has made the cut. Miller, Clemson's freshman shortstop, is the university's first player to make Team USA since Daniel Moskos made it in 2006. Miller was one of 22 players to make the team out of 41 college players that tried out. Also making the team from the state of SC was Citadel pitcher Asher Wojciechowski and Coastal Carolina's Cody Wheeler. Casey Harmon from Clemson did not make the team. The USA Baseball team will travel to Japan in July to take part in the USA vs. Japan Collegiate Championships. Then it goes to British Columbia for the Enbridge North Gateway Pipeline World Baseball Challenge.
