Booker Begins Exhibition Play


Booker and Team USA began exhibition play yesterday in the 2009 Serbia International Invitational. Team USA was able to hold off Canada and win 85-81. Da'Sean Butler led the way for the Americans with 20pts. Booker logged 17mins in the game and had 7pts and 2 steals. In today's game versus the host squad from Serbia, Team USA was defeated 98-82. Serbia pounded the ball inside against the Americans, and got most of Team USA's big men in early foul trouble. Booker, once again, logged 17mins in the game. He finished with 4 fouls, 3pts, and 3 assists. The Serbia International Invitational will finish up tomorrow, as USA takes on Russia. The American squad will begin the World University Games on July 3rd against Finland.
